One of my S/C screws seem to be scraping the housing a bit. I noticed it after i pulled it off to install new gaskets. I don't think I detorqued it properly. Did I just destroy my supercharger?

I'm sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about. What S/C screws?

Oh, Well if that's the case (no pun intended) then it sounds like your bearings for the rotors may be going out.

    Have any pics?

I was thinking about those 2 bolts that go into the outlet edge...but most of the time those don't even effect anything...

OR... you overly torqued it and its in the wrong pattern, these housings warp very easily, after all its a precision tolerance between the rotors and case. Loosen all the bolts, then go crosspattern torquing sequence to 17 ft lbs and see if it gets better. How bad exactly is it? If its just a slight rub at one certain spot it will wear in.

Yes I am referring to the rotors. I noticed the scraping when i took it off the car. When I put it back on i started a cross pattern starting at the center. Is this the correct way to do it? I cant seem to find my Chilton's manual.

The scraping isn't bad but still noticeable. I'm positive it'd wear in pretty quickly but I'm worried about all those metal shavings getting into the engine if I just throw it back on there.

I did not see anything out of the ordinary and believe one "fin" of one of the rotors is scraping the bottom of the housing.

First off, why would you put it back on the car? I would take it off and either try replacing the bearings and see if that fixes it. If it doesnt then you have likely warped the casing.

I put it back on for two reasons: 1) I was hoping that when I bolted to a flat surface (ie the LIM) it might even things out a bit. 2) I cant drive my car without it being on there but I can drive it with just the belt missing. Plus I'd rather drive my GTP with a missing s/c belt than my Dodge Ram van with a 5.2 and a 35 gallon tank
