I've got a 2005 PCM that I am going to tune this sunday for my 2006 GT. We're going to be using HPT to tune it, my question is about the VIN though. With the 2005 PCM being out of a different car I realize the VIN needs to be changed to match the VIN of my car. Am I going to have to pay for two SETS of credits?(one to change the VIN over and the other to tune) Or will the HPT let me go ahead and change the VIN without having to buy the extra set of credits.

If it doesn't let me change without having to pay extra, can a dealership change the VIN for me instead?

You have to license each vin that you tune for with hpt. You should be able to license the new PCM and tune it. That should work.

BTW you should be receiving your order tomorrow. If you don't let me know.
