    Here is my question;

    To: Turbo Tim
    Subject: Phenolic Blower Spacer

    Im interested in the blower spacer. Will I need to get injector spacers or your fuel rail to make this work?

    Here is his answer;

    If you get the 1” one you will need the longer bolts and the injector spacers, but if you get the ΒΌ” one you wont need either I don’t think.

    Thank you for your business,

    Turbo Tim

    Did everyone see the "I Don't think" at the end of his sentence?

    Can someone tell me the answer being 100% positive so I know what to order from these jackasses.

    Thanks

    LOL.... measure how much space you have between the fuel rails and blower if its a 1/4 or smaller id say you need both....if its more than you should be fine....you wouldnt need longer bolts for the 1/4 for sure...but a 1/4 inch blower spacer is pretty pointless...at least get the bigger one or save your money and buy a IC core from minichopper!

    he probably isnt involved in the actual product development is why. check out my thread on phenolic spacer, i can do one 1/4" one for $50 and you would have to measure if the stock rails would work, i havent looked to be honest im not running stock rails anymore either

    Seriously I dont care how involved he was/is with the product but to reply to my email without asking someone who knows is just bad business but it doesnt really surprise me.

    Well, zoomer wrote this;

    YOu don't have to space things out but you would have to bend or cut some things on the rail. The top mount is already touching the blower.

    I would recommend it.

    You will need longer bolts. you can do it w/o on the 1/4" but it's not worth it as you can strip out the threads since not enough are engaged. YOu'll want 5mm longer than stock

    ZZPerformance.com

    Any write ups on modifying the fuel rail? I cant find any and I really dont wanna bend my chit

    dont buy any shyt from zzp they suck. i wouldnt trust the 1/4" on stock rails, its not worth it. If you want some rails, bought to come out with a set that blows zzp's price outa the water.

    Probally 3 weeks, to be on the safe side. We havnt set a final price, but they will beat out zzp's considerably and at the same if not better quality. Pics will come when they are finished.

    Ha. Just another one off ZZPerformance episode I tell ya. **** Zoomer and Turbo Tim, nothing but a couple people out to screw you in the end. Horrible craptastic customer service and bull**** answers like that is all you ever get. I talked to...Eric? I think on the phone once after trying to get through their line for about hmmm 6 days about my jacked up PCM tune after 4 attempts at fixing it. He kept asking me what it was doing wrong. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many times I told him it was flashing 0.0 on the DIC all the time in Programming Mode...he didn't know what I meant. Basically means he doesn't know how to tune. Hence why I preach not to buy PCM's from them in every thread when someone has them/wants to buy them.

    Sorry to get off subject, but it makes me mad that they try to sell over priced crap to people that really does nothing compared to other mods for the price, like a U-Bend Delete, Shorty 3" Downpipe, or even the ported blower I told you about will get rid of as much heat as that "phenolic spacer" will trap in or help dissipate.

    Never said don't make them. I just hate that the same thing can be had for more than half the price and work twice as good and people still get scammed by ZZP.
