Ok so I was looking to get the bolt in 3" DP from ZZP but I was looking at my exhaust and where does the end closest to the CAT bolt in? And if I did get it, would that be all I need? or would I need other things to go along with it? (not too great with cars here)

converter end bolts in at the resonator-- if you were looking at the 'shorty' one, that gets welded in infront of the cat.

I'm not looking to go with the whole 3" exhaust yet, just a downpipe for now. But how would I do that without a resonator? Would I have to get the welded one instead?

if everything you have now is welded together, then you either need to get the weld in kind, or have a shop weld on a flange to bolt to.
