Are you saying that you can't turn the key counter-clockwise to the ACC position? Or is it that you can't turn it clock-wise past the run position to start the ignition? Or is it that you can turn it clock-wise, but when in the run position (the click before ignition) that it doesn't do anyting?

    That made my head hurt.

If the key won't turn to ACC - or anything else for that matter - make sure first that your steering wheel isn't locked over. For instance - while attempting to turn the key - also (simultaneously, at the same time, etc etc) try and turn the steering wheel in either direction and see if that releases - after which you should be able to turn the key.

If this doesn't help you - then you may have a switch issue - or possibly a key issue. Try a spare key??
