I never did port it, it's polished on the inlet side, but that's as far as I went with it. Then I went ahead and had the outside done up. It's due for a reconditioning soon, probably when I get ready to put my rebuilt engine in.

cool. Im curious as to how much more efficient the gen5 actually is, compared to a fully ported gen3. As far as i know they both use the same lobe design, correct?
That looks freaking awesome! How much does it cost for that porting and powdercoat job? I live in colorado but could ship my blower. Can you do different colors?
can do black, red, blue, white, yellow. $200 for the all the work above, it will look exactly like the one in the photo in the original post. Thanks and if you have any questions, send me a private message.
Basically, yes. The outlet is pretty much identical to a ported Gen 3, and the inlet is quite a bit different...seen here.

Looks like the main advantage is the intake side. I started to but didnt finish the project of mine where i cut the intake side off and was going to box it back in with 1/8 plate to make the air intake shot completely straight, flipping the tb upside down. I think that would make it the same if not a little more efficient, as their would be no ramp up for the air to take.
