Compressor might not be turning on or there might not be any refrigerant in the system

Sit in the car with it running and push the a/c button. watch the tach cuz it should jump a couple hundred rpm, plus when the compressor turns on you should be able to hear it also.

or if you have someone with you they can just watch the compressor and see if the clutch engages

It's really hard to say. It could be alot of things. The best way to tell is to hook a set of gauges to the system and see whats goin on.

now, when it blows hot air, is it BOTH sides (if you have dual climate control) or just driver side? another question, where did you try to put 134 in at? was it the lp side, or hp side? i know the bottle only hooks up to one spot, im not calling you dumb either, just process of elimination to help you fix your problem...

ok. so its hot from all vents? yeah you might have another problem. did you charge it a lot, or just part way? i think the high side has a black cap (you used the right cap, im pretty sure its green...and it wouldnt fit the other one anyways) and if its full of freon, not sure what to tell you...others have ideas to offer?

no like it wuldnt take the freon like u kno how the refergerant thing has a meter to show how much freon is in there already well when i put the the thing in it reads nothing and then if i press the trigger thing i hear the air coming out but the meter doesnt rize and at the dealership where i bought the car the guy tried to fix it but he was like its not taking the freon

You Should Check Your A/C Clutch.....I Have The Same Problem With My Car Too. My A/C Clutch Is Also Making Noise...Kinda Like I Need Power Steering Fluid...But It Is For Sure It's My A/C Clutch..I Was Told It Was About $100 But I'm Not Sure Of The Exact Price. Only Certain Shops Will Work On A/C. But I Got A Mechanic That Will Try And Do Mine, He Only Can Do Certain Ones And He Don't Know If He Can Do Mine. The A/C Clutch Runs Off Of One Of My Serpatine Belt? I Have Two Belts One For My Supercharger And One For The Other Stuff. I'm One Of The Dumb Ones Too And Don't Know Much About Cars. I Jus Know THis Stuff From Watching The Mechanic Work On My Car.

wait, my buddy in hawaii had this happen to his truck right before i left...it was his a/c clutch relay, his wouldnt run cold, but the clutch engaged, but it didnt have cold air. we tried over and over to recharge it like you have, and it did take freon, but it would be full, and still run hot air. it turned out it was his relay! i tested it out with my multimeter. this was almost 2 yrs ago...i forget which posts give what readings, its a basic relay though. hope that is all it is! cheaper fix than a clutch rebuild! have him check your relay for the a/c clutch...it has one right? pretty sure...
