Scanned the car for some codes today and came across P0243, which if I'm not mistaken means a Boost Solenoid problem.

Searching, I found that you can check for a faulty solinoid by unplugging the bottom vacume hose on the solenoid. I did this and go no change in how my car is runing...

Also showed code P1260, Fuel Pump Circuit. How can I trouble shoot this. I cleared the code and it didn't reshow up. Though I would like to atleast know what I need to be looking at/for.

    Thanks

Yep. Though I also have the P0300 code (cam install) and a MAF that works and then doesn't.

Been looking for a vac leak for oh... 2 weeks now with no avail.

    Running lean.

I also checked the Bypass/Solenoid and its not sticking, as at idle I can watch it open and close as the idle is bouncing.

I went around a sprarey all my vac lines with some Carb cleaner in hopes of hearing it rev up but, other than the bouncing idol got nothing.

Kyle have you thought about running without the BBV in the PCM? Or leaving it open all of the time...I think Bio does that but I am not sure how it works, I guess just somehow leave the valve stuck open...?

na, you don't leave it stuck open, you just leave it completely vac operated without the computer's interference. Stuck open wouldn't let you build any boost. All you have to do is leave the bottom nipple on the actuator (the black canister) open and cap off the line.

yup. it works just like normal, but the computer has no way of dumping boost anymore.

i assume that with what youre describing that you have a vacuum leak. use some carb spray and spray around the engine bay and see if the idle changes at some point.

Bio any other way to check for a leak? I hit it with cleaner and propane and can't find any change in the idel other than the rev bouncing between 1-1.5 rpms. Just for ****s and giggles I created a vac leak and got a huge difference before she died on me... Maybe it is somthing else then...

The sensor right infront of the boost soliniod/bypass. I wonder if I might of got the wirirng wrong on it/backwards... :/

That's not the bypass solenoid. That's the boost bypass valve (BBV). The solenoid is a different item.

Did you add a bypass solenoid when you did your top swap? If not, that might be why you're throwing a code.

Alright what is it then? Is it inside the S/C housing? I mean under the plastic plate, (not the one with the vac tree?)

The solenoid bolts to the front of the actuator (the black canister), and has a vac line coming from the FPR on one side, and a vac line going to the lower nipple on the actuator on the other.

You'll never see boost with your boost gauge hooked up there. That's before the rotors.

Two things I see with that drawing; first, the vac line on the TB you have going to the fuel rail, it should go to the EVAP purge solenoid on the back of the SC. Second, you have a boost/vac gauge hooked into a vac source before the SC, so it'll never see boost.

Edit, nevermind on the EVAP thing, I see that you're just running the L36 EVAP system

like everyone said, its all good minus your boost gauge location. instead of ending your line at the map put the T there and run into the car. otherwise everything else is hooked up exactly like mine minus that i dont have my BBV hooked up with the PCM or the lower vacuum line.

Sorry to hijack Kyle...but Nick...on the BBV thingy mod...you can just take it out of the PCM and unplug it? thats it?

Relocated the Gauge to right before the MAP sensor, and am getting a reading @ idle of 10 VAC and when I give it some gas it goes to 15 VAC... further negative. What is the typical idle reading?

Vac is vacumme and when the supercharger creates positive pressure it becomes boost and should be going towards and past zero... correct

    (-)Vacume-------------0----------(+)Pressure/Boost

    -30/-25/-20/-15/-10/-5/0/+5/+10/+15/+20/+25/+30

Mine sits at about -20 in/HG at idle according to the gauge. Either your gauge is busted or you have a bad vacuum leak. What units is the vacuum section measured in? in/HG or PSI?
