I bought a used set of SLP's that look grand new. For whatever reason the previous owner cut th flex and downpipe off and kept them so I have to fab a custom downpipe. No big deal however, I test fitted the rear header and it rubs the heat padding on the firewall. Everything on my car is stock with the exception of lowering springs and Vinnies craddle spacers. Has anyone else had issues with headers hitting the firewall? Any suggestions?

Yup. It is lowered. You're gonna need shortened dog bones. And **** CRADLE SPACERS.

because of vinnie's spacers, your motor is raised up higher and coincidentally youre hitting the firewall with your headers. you are better off taking those out and getting shorter dogbones so that it doesnt bring the motor up so far.

i have shorter dogbones on my car because of this as well.

I've heard nothing but bad things from cradle spacers, that is why I steered clear.

i run a full set of vinnies cradle spacers on mine with b+g springs in front and i use SSAC headers which are essentially the same, mine seem to fit ok and i dont have any rubbing.
you could always you some mallet persuasion on the tunnel for added clearance.
