where you gonna put the turbo without letting it hit the ground? you dont have a ton of room.

twincharging is cool, but you can make more power, more easily with just a turbo alone so why waste the effort? you also have to rig up a way to let the BBV open after the turbo starts boosting hard cause you cant run both at the same time without having problems.

well ive looked up under there and was thinking of around the pass. muffler area. i know intense was workin on a kit that went in the driver muffler area. this would be easier on the pass. side because the exhaust comes out there to begin with, and the intercooler plumbing would go pass to driver side to tb.

i wanna do something different, i know its easier to do just turbo but ive been workin on the supercharger for a while now and i think dual intercooled/twincharged would give a nice powerband.

exhaust system goes all the way back like usual but goes into a turbo instead of a muffler. then the intake side of the turbo is routed all the way back to the intake of the car. it negates the need for an intercooler because there is so much piping for it to go through and cool by the time it gets there.

PLUS...no one knows and it is stealthy as shizzz

Talked to a guy from House of Boost when they busted out their TTG8...and it was a twin-turbo setup...pretty damned *****in' IMO...if you didn't know what to look for than you had NO idea...

plus it makes the turbo easy to get on/off. i just got headers and want to retain them, so this is the only way. i dont mind the piping under the car, and it makes the turbos life longer.

Its been done before, i think the guys name was davepf on the other forum. As long as your pretty handy it shouldn't be too difficult, you just wont have a whole lot of ground clearance. The tuning process can get kinda complicated. Basically the s/c is there to spool up the turbo and when you hit a certain boost you want to open the bbv. Twincharging is beneficial when you have a large turbo that has some lag to it.

It wouldnt hurt to try if you have all the resources and feel like it. Go for it!

why do i need to open the bbv? i thought the supercharger would just be along for the ride after the turbo boosts over the superchargers output?

hmm i see... i just think it would be quite a PITA to run all that intake piping!

Opening the bbv when the turbo spools helps get more air through without fighting against the pressure of the s/c charged air. The s/c should boost up to about 6psi and then the bbv opens and the turbo does most of the work after that.

For track runs, a turbo only setup is going to be a better solution, but for the street, twincharged is awesome. Should be a fun project with a rear mount turbo, and the twin-charged solution should eliminate any lag. I'm interested to see how you run the oil feed and return lines back there. Keep us posted.
