This isn't true. Unless all of those places were independent, they couldn't be getting the same gas, plus there wouldn't be enough in one tanker to fill three gas stations...

Each company (i.e. Chevron) refines their own oil, adding different detergents etc. Many people believe Chevron has better gas then other companies as well.

Plus if the truck was "no name" how would you know it was the same one...

I had 8* of KR from the factory running on 87 octane, on a stock car with an intake/catback...which really do nothing but add noise.

    11.8-12.0:1 AFR.

    It's a N/A motor.

Mike has close to the same timing with a leaner AFR.

I'm going to install 180 t-stat and plog this weekend to see if that drops the KR. I see 5* of kr when speeding up. Overall just not fast enough with my mods and hope these new ones make a difference.

180ยบ is a waste of time and 10 bucks.

    Stock is perfectly fine.

No...pcms are tuned for higher octane. Go try 91 or higher. See if the knock goes away.

How much KR is considered bad? At WOT on the highway I have 6* of KR. Should I be concerned by this? 05 GTP 3.4 pulley, CAI, tuned pcm, colder plugs, and 180* tstat
