who told you to buy a 2.5" downpipe? should have gotten the 3" to begin with.

safe to run the 3.4? depends on your definition of safe. youll be knocking with it, probably around 5* if not more.

Get a 3" DP. For the L67 a 2.5" is junk. get yourself a colder t-stat and colder range plugs...make a intake...then MAYBE a 3.4" but you'd probably still have some knock without a custom tune.

    3.5 or headers.....

as much money as your spending on plog, cross-over and downpipe you could get some cheap headers and open up more breathing room

well I did nto buy anything yet
I am going to and I will go with the 3" but I do not want to do anything more but the 3.4 pully size. THis is gonig to be my Daily Driver I have an 87 Trans Am with a built 327 for that fun stuff. FWi I will make. the ZZP ceramic coated Crossover is good thoug right and the 3 " DP and the PLOG I did nto really want to go with headers. I will have to look at the price differance and how much loader are they.

coated crossover is a sham, dont waste your money.

either get the 3" downpipe and a plog or get headers.

He would be fine with a set of headers and a 3.5". SLP ran the 3.5" Pulley on their "Stage" cars when there were being offered. It isn't going to blow the car up...and he has exhaust mods so it would probably be ok.

You can run a 3.5" probably, wouldn't do the 3.4". Have overkill tune you a new pcm.

why do people think that a 3.5 is a lot bigger than a 3.4? a 3.5 is really close to a 3.4, but just barely less.

if you cant run a 3.4 with okay timing, you cant run a 3.5 either.

Every car is differnt.. It also depends on the gas he can get.. .. If he wants to spend couple grand on a motor then go for it.. Im just saying pay $200 for a scanner and make sure ... Boosting is easy.. the key is not to blow up...

I have an aeroforsce already and If I get Headers do I just need the DP still? Do the Headers feed Directly to the DP? And If I go with the Plog and DP don't I need the Crossover pipe still what kind of Cross over do you recomend. I am going to look at the price of headers right now to see the differance. I need to do something because on my way home from Jersey last week I got and Exhaust leak I think it is coming from the flex section.

I see now that they do come withthe DP but they do nto come with CAT and I live in CT Can I have one put in I can only afford the Pacesetter Headers THere are 3 Painted I am guessing will come off when car is started like my headman I have on my trans am then they have ceramic Coated for 100 bucks extra WBS Performace and Armour coated at GP accessory for 159 extra the headers them selves are lose in price these are all the Pacesetter. Are they evn worth it. I guess and can I put a cat on these for inspection? the DP and Crossover and Plog will cost me about 400 and the Pacesetters will cost me 550 with the Armour coating or 460 with the Ceramic or 360 just painted.

exhaust leak will throw off your tune, which potentially could make you knock more.
