About a month ago, I replace the LIM gasket on my 2004 GP GTP. I went to use the AC the other day and it is not working. I don't know if this has anything to do with the LIM replacement or not, but the compressor does not turn on when the AC is turned on nor does the cooling fan kick on. Could there have been a wire that was disconnected to access the LIM gasket that I could have possbly forgot to connect back up? I checked over everything and all the wires are connected of what I can see. It may just be coincidental. I know the AC worked last summer, just wasn't sure if there was a wire that I could have missed that would disable the compressor from coming on. Any help would be appreciated.

nothing to do with the lower intake gasket job. it is possible that you knocked something loose, but it wouldnt have been with the LIM job.

I would guess that it is just a coincidence. Best way to tell is unplug the wire going to the compressor and check for voltage when you have the ac turned on.

But again, just my guess that it lost pressure over the winter and won't kick on now because of low pressure. You can try buying a kit from Wal-mart or somewhere like that. But your best bet, I think, when it comes to AC is take it to someone with the correct tools that can diagnose it correctly. I have tried the gauges and kits they sell for cheap, and never had much success.

I'm going to take it to a garage to get checked out, I just wanted to make sure that there was nothing on top that I could have unplugged that would have killed the AC.
