My car has 41,000 miles, would it be a waste to change my front O2 sensor?

I was hoping My gas mileage would increase, I performed a few mods and the is the same as when I purchased it low. The overhead console reads 11-12 city and 21-22 highway. I'm going to program the aeroforce to see what kind of mileage it say's I'm getting.

The DIC or overhead lies. The best way is the old way. Wich is figuring it up when you fill up and do a little math. If your fuel trims are off then the DIC will be off.

unless your sensor is dead there is no reason to replace it.

Not true. They get less precise with age, making them less effective.
