Yella Terra roller directions show a little bit more than that. They say to find Top dead center for each cylinder before you take the old ones off, checking for clearances in new rollers, hand tighten bolts to zero play point, tighten bolts to 25ft lbs which should be between 1/2" to 3/4" of a turn (any more than that would mean you need spacers under aligning plate, less than 1/4 turn would require shortening of the pedestals to increase lifter preload), repeat with top dead center in remaining cylinders in firing order, oil rocerks, bearings, and push- rod adjusters (if equiped) allow time for lifters to bleed down in last cylinder before cranking engine.

...for what? seems like a waste of time since youre clearly not throwing off the geometry of everything that much.
