the line goes under the throttle body. i liked them a lot and would have definately used them if i had not sold my SSIC setup..
is that basically a modded stock one then?
You have my attention. I look forward to updates. :th_thumbsup-wink:
The only thing about possible fuel logs or rails is all the ones I see won't work with my L36 fuel lines. It's enough to make them bend over onto the stock L67 rails. All the ones I've seen would be too much bending. Oh well, just an excuse to go AN lines.
what dont you like about them... trying to get some ideas that people would like as far as that goes.

dunno..just dont like how they are two pieces. i like one big fuel rail.
im probably one of the only people that will ever say that though.
well, i really cant help you there lol i personally like 2 piece, you dont have to take all the injectors out if you just want to do the front/back.

Can you paint phenolic? Like the outside edges?
Yes.
There are actually a lot of paints and coatings (deck coatings for example) that contain Phenolic. With the proper prep work (wich is required on any surface that you are painting whether it is phenolic or not) just about anything can be painted.
There is nothing special that you need to do when painting this. Remember. Prep work is 90% of a paint job in it's self.
Any more questions be sure to let us know.
Keep up the good work man. If I had a buck for every time I got ridiculed on the web for my stuff, I'd be as rich as........well.......you get the picture.
If it works as well as the big dogs, then who cares? We're all going for the same end result.
I just used a rattle can of Rustoleum BBQ black on the phenolic SSIC core minichopper6hp made for me:

Also made myself some gaskets from 1/16" silicone sheet.
(I'm trying to invent the first hassle-free, truly reuseable supercharger/intercooler gaskets ;) )

Logan,
What are you planning with homemade fuel logs?
After I tried and failed a few tries at modding stock rails, I drew up some plans for a machinist buddy of mine:
http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/e...ela/FLOGF2.jpg
http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/e...ela/FLOGR2.jpg
Steel 3/8" NPT by AN-6 elbows at each Belt End, connected under the snout with a 12" stainless braid PTFE AN-6 hose.
Steel 3/8" NPT pipe plugs at each TB end.
Then I'm going to tap 1/4" NPT on top at each TB end (between the end plug and the injector), and use steel
1/4" NPT by 3/8" Yor-Lok (McMaster's Swagelok knockoff) elbows. One will go directly to 3/8" Dorman bead line
(feed), the other to an L67 regulator assembly cut from a stock rail, then a 5/16" Yor-Lok coupler, then 5/16"
Dorman bead line (return).
Somewhere along one log I'm going to tap the top 1/8" NPT for my fuel pressure sensor.
I'm kicking around 2 or 3 ideas for how to mount these suckers, but I'm going to decide that after the pieces
show up and I can check fitment on my mockup bench.
Including a stock rail to hack a regulator from, somewhere around $150 in materials. I just hope they work!
Any idea on when the kits will be ready? Also if someone could shoot me a PM on how much these would cost that'd be great! I'm very interested in an Intercooler setup for a Gen V.
PM sent.
I just skimmed through this and it looks good
agrazela, im gonna use fuel rail stock, drilled, tapped, mounting tabs welded on just like zzps, tapped for regulator also. The will be powdercoated too. Keep an eye out as im going to start on these soon.

im lookin for a intercooler for a gen III so hitme up with a price lookin forward to ur design
You can test one on my car. Looks great keep it up. How much are you going to sell for. Gen5 Thanks
