Oh i didnt mean the spark plug wires just the other wires.
Ya, its not bad at all. I didnt use zip ties and Im not sure why you would need them. If your worried, take a few pics before you start or make notes. Take your time. It took me 6 hours and this was taking my time, cleaning and painting valve covers and stopping for a cold one here and there. Once you have the rocker covers off, clean them and put some small dabs (about 6 evenly spaced)of gasket sealent around the rocker cover and install your gaskets. That way when you put the rocker covers back on, your gaskets will stay put. Nothing tricky, just a matter of removing stuff and putting it back together. Good luck, my old back was broke after doing this install.
get a camera =]
I'd recommend replacing your valve seals while having the springs off personally. They just pop right off and you use a 12pt socket to tap them back on. I recommend these from PRJ Performance... Prj. Performance - Viton Valve Seals - Details .
cant wait to see how it turns out. wanna do these on my car after some more modding. is it a good idea to get new valves while doing this job as well?
Have to pull the heads to put new valves on.
^^^ Thats why I'm not doing them.
Rockers are just a cheaper alternative to a cam...they make somewhere close to a cam but not quite as much...I know for a fact I've been beat by a intercooled and rockered car with my XP Setup and that thing was stupid fast...
And yeah when I had my 1.84's vs. stock I could really feel a difference around 4-5K![]()
