Module?

My car is a turd. Its been cutting out off & on for a year now. I replaced 2 of the 3 coil packs so far. When I change one, it runs fine for a couple of weeks or a month. Then it starts the same crap all over again.( no mods) I think I want to change out the rectangle thingy that the coil packs sit on. What is that called? Can it be tested? Thanks! Lorri
