The dealer said my injectors needed to be cleaned so I told them to go ef themselves. I bought 42lbs injectors for the same price. With a full exhaust (downpipe to tips), intake and a stock ecu, which would run better-- my dirty injectors or my 42 pounders?

I know it sounds kinda dumb at first but I want to make sure I'm not dumping too much fuel into the engine.

The dealer is just trying to sell you a fuel system service. Your injectors are probably fine to continue to drive on.

the car doesnt run right. the injectors have 80k on them. they also diagnosed the plug wires (arcing), coil packs, and TPS wasnt getting a reading (wiring is all screwed up).

I just replaced the plug wires and the car isn't missing anymore but the power isn't all there. I don't doubt their diagnosis.

i know i dont need them but i couldnt find any low mileage stock ones for a good price. I already paid for the parts. Should I throw these babies on there or wait a few months till I get a tune?

Your car isn't even close to needing 42's. You should have just bought stock 33's. Sorry to say but you basically just wasted money. You probably could have removed the old ones and just cleaned them...

You'll need to change you're IFR table in the PCM to be able to run them. Everything will be ok as long as you do that.

    To answer you're question.

TDC- Thank you for giving me a straight answer and not an opinion. I already know I don't need injectors this big, I couldnt find any low mileage stock injectors, and i didnt want to dick around with cleaning mine (i'd never know if they where truly clean).
