by the beginning of june I'll have right around another $1200 to spend on mods. Right now I have: AL104's, PRJ Wires, 180* therm, 3.6", 3" DP, 3" exhaust, CAI, and a zzp pcm which will soon be retuned with an hptuners. What would you guys suggest I go with next? I was thinking something along the lines of pacesetter headers w/ an install kit. And I'm also thinking about making a full size phenolic IC. I dont really want to do anything thats going to make pull the motor out (cam) just yet.

I dont want to go with a high ratio rocker because I plan on going with a cam later so it would kind of be a waste of money in the long run.

if you really want to make the car fast right away just spend the lump of it on a fullsize intercooler. best mod for the car, period. next thing on that would be headers. then cam.

yeah i would recommend you scan for knock as you start dropping pulley sizes tho. Invest in a scan tool like aeroforce, or you could scan with the HP tuners whenever you have the laptop in the car.

you can go down to like a 3.0 knock free on stock injectors with ported manifolds and rockers. minimal tuning involved, basic fueling.

and thatll cost you about $1000.

Well, how are the 04+ GTP's with dropping pulley sizes? I thought that the stock injectors were weak? Am I wrong, or did I hear it right...depending on how good the fueling is you might have to get injectors to drop so much of a pulley size IMO...

But yeah, I'd say Stage 2 or 3 Intercooler, #42.5's, and a 3.2"/3.0" pulley with the Pacesetter's and a custom tune...

the genV injectors are just slightly smaller. the IPW that they read are actually skewed and you can really push them farther than you think. i would never switch injectors unless you absolutely know that you are not getting enough fuel (knocking with high IPWs).

with the gen V, should I really be able to drop to the 3.0? Or am I going to be looking at something more along the lines of a 3.2? I'm just wondering because most people with the series III end up having to run one size bigger than what you would with a relative setup on a series II, at least that's what i've gotten out of a lot of the threads on here.

yea i would say around a 3.2. but that thing is gonna be screaming!! the injectors are skewed and read a little off. there probably good for a 3.2.
