i know that our cars are kinda sensitive when it comes to MAF's but, this is getting old.
i've had my car for almost a year and i'm replacing MAF's at the rate of about every 3 months.

1st time the factory original quit
2nd time was a used one from ed
3rd was a new one from advance (with a one year warranty thank god)
4th time was friday (warranty exchange from advance)

should my car be eating these at this rate?
it does have a k/n intake and i've kinda got a heavy foot. the filter isn't over serviced. as a matter of fact it prob needs cleaned and oiled.

    any ideas/suggestions?

Not any that I can think of. Sound like you have just been having some bad luck.

Must have something else wrong. I've had to replace one MAF in 7 years of owning my white GTP. My black one i've replaced one MAF in 4 years of owning my black one. Both went out around the 130,000 mile range give or take. No problems here, 100,000+ mile parts can and will break...

CRC MAF cleaner takes care of that issue. When a reoil a filter and run it for a couple hours, I pull out the MAF, clean it, and reinstall. Maybe this is some of the reason for my good luck? I've ran K&N and S&B filters on my white car, since 2002.
