    That is a great way to explain how bad the 97-98 stock airbox is, it goes through 2 of those.....imagine all the turbulence

    Now think along the lines of exhaust flow and the bends there. Bends are nearly impossible to avoid in either intake or exhaust, but using the principles here, we can certainly minimize their effects.

    I would love to have a flow bench or something to test a few things out.

    Yeah, in most cases I would say you're dead on. But that video makes a good demonstration that its not totally hopeless, just takes a little work maybe.
