I was hoping for that, I only have 55k on the car, and at 32k I flushed about 20 liters through the trans....This is good, I'll just have to tune out the skipshifts when I get a tuner

Lets keep this thread going. Are the L32 injectors sufficient enough to handle the swap or do you HAVE to use L67s?

Boost bypass wireing, where does it come from?

Head gaskets, felpro? Not looking for pulley drops, just stock pulley.

I found the L36 to L67 harness, I imagine thats the right one for BBV and MAP.

yeah, the l32 injectors are 36lbs I think, and I don't know weather I'll get those or 42.5's, depending on what I can find cheaper....

Do l67 rails fit on the gen v blower

Is the alternatior bracket different l32 / l67

Is the coil pack bracket different l32 / l67

the boost bypass is either run with no vacuum input and the pcm is not hooked up to it. or you have to wire it up into the pcm and then it runs like a stock l67 unit. i have mine completely open on the lower side. this is the only way to get full boost without it being pcm controlled.

i used regular felpros as well. they hold up just fine as long as your tune is good.

Use fel pro head gaskets with ARP head studs, they'll hold pretty much anything you can throw at them.

Don't use L32 injectors. They have a funky connector. Just use the L67 ones and if you ever need to upsize injectors in the future it will be far easier.

You should also look into getting a fuel pump re-wire as the stock GT pump isn't as strong as a GTP pump.

PRJ carries the Racetronix harness, it's the good one

i didnt do anything differently with my EVAP, its still just sitting there in a moronic place on the front side of the engine.

as far as the fuel pump, ive got the re-wire, but havent put it in yet. i thought the pumps were exactly the same though?

I was only asking about the L32 injectors because the car it may be going on has the same style connectors already.

I'll add harness and studs to the list.

    How about that EVAP problem?

what about the rails, do L67 rails fit over the GEN V, cause $400 fuel logs are a last resort, also, is injector placement identical L67 vs L32

Ok, looking at some top swap pictures, I can use L67 rails, What about connecting them to the L36 quick connects, are they the same size, or am I gonna have to modify the fuel lines......

hopefully we can get enough information in this thread that I wont be the only one to attempt this

you can use the quick connects from the l36, but youre going to have to twist the heads of them so you dont have to kink the lines.

What size pulley should I start with, I think I'm gonna run the SS M90 pullies from ZZP so I can run just the one belt, so I can start with a 4.2 or smaller, Just asking for opinions

if youre doing a top swap you cant run ss pullies. you need to get their kit then. get some more mods and then keep the 3.8 for a while.
