Started a l67 swap last year engine and transmission engine was out of a l67 Bonneville like 03-05 transmission was out off a 97-03 gtp when finished car cranked up was informed on here that I needed a zzp tuned pcm to to get car to run properly so during black Friday sale I ordered 2 for my l67 cars when the 99 grand prix pcm returned I installed it and the car cranked no issue went to fuel up and on returning to the car battery was dead got a jump car cranked up drove to a friend's place left car and returned to leave battery was dead again tried jumping no crank next day went to buy a battery car would crank no start heard about using starter fluid car cranked and Started drove home parked car went on forums ordered l67 swap kit from zzp and installed when it arrived car still would not start without starter fluid from that day on had to use starter fluid to drive gt turned gtp over time car Started to shut off on me randomly thought alternator was bad swapped it out due to voltage drop turned out to be frayed maf tps and iac valve wires were no good and causing my #21 fuse to blow which controls the maf 02 sensor and other accessories fixed those by cutting of the heads and wiring new connectors on and changed the fuse after that car ran fairly decent with no issues the issues came to be that my tps would go out again used scan Guage and readings showed tps would be at anywhere from 2 to 12 percent while driving and even in park without my accelerating the car idle would be around 2000 rpms without my foot on gas then scanned the maf sensor it would read 0.21 which Indicated the fuse blew again or that the maf was no good sprayed with maf cleaner no change bought new tps and maf swapped them out car ran ok until battery died due to car sitting when I wasn't able to attend to it yesterday got a new battery and decided I was going to drive the car after getting it to crank and start car Started with no issues used starter fluid drove to work about half a mile from leaving the house omw to work car Started reving on its on at 8 % on tps reading maf was reading around 2.83% got to work and parked car when I went on lunch same issue but omw to swap out cars tps read 12% and maf was around same reading but read correctly as I drove and accelerated oarked and unplugged maf car idled down right then started to Rev back up to reading around 8-12% on the tps parked and will.check this weekend wanted to know could the Started fluid be causing my issue
