So I have been collecting parts for a while now for my heads/cam build. I went to the dealer earlier this month, provided my vin# and ordered/priced out some more parts. I wanted new lifters for the build since my original stock ones have some miles on them.

I was told there are 2 OEM options for lifters and they did not know which one my car has.

    There are 2 part numbers:

17122490 (AC DELCO HL124) (Expensive option)12648846 (AC DELCO HL128) (Cheaper option)

Have any of you guys ran into this before when getting replacement GM lifters? Any other way to tell which one my car has? The car is a 99 GTP and was built October of 98 if that matters.

I don't have the engine apart yet and was hoping to have pretty much all my parts together before I take it apart. I found both of these GM lifters on Rockauto for a much better price and they are both listed as GM Original Equipment. (Yes I know LS7 lifters are an option as well)
