could i be giving it too much pcv the ssic claims that it dosent mess with stock pcv function but i still drilled a hole in the oil cap and added a line from there to the pcv system? should i just cap this off for the time being and get a new oil cap?

Also, ssic's are very prone to vacuum leaks. Get a can of starting fluid and spray around it. Listen for a change in idle as you spray.

A vac leak is probably the most common problem when installing an intercooler. Did you torque everything to spec? I wouldn't give up. Either spray to find the leak or make a smoker and find it easier and safer. Possible your iac is bad or gunked up. You are this close, don't give up now. I know how you feel though, I've had a couple dark moments where I wanted to cut a fuel line and just let it idle till it burnt to the ground. Get to work and fix that leak.

i drilled a hole in the oil cap to attach a line in the pcv system because i thought the ssic didnt have front working pcv like the fsic but now i relize it does and how do i do the starting fluid just spray in all the places it could leak and wait for it to change in idle how noticable will the idle change be right now it fluctuates between 1150 rpm and 1250 rpm

Spray around all sealing surfaces and vac lines, listen for idle change. If you have a scanner you can watch your fuel trims and rpm. I use a cheap obd2 Bluetooth adapter with Torque pro for this. Or better yet, make a smoke tester for about 25 bucks with a can, soldering iron and some tubes. I found every tiny intake leak I had that I couldn't find with carb spray.

I have the aeroforce gauge if that can scan them its the only thing I can get to connect to my ****box also I just drove it about 8 miles after capping that new pcv I added and had no issues also idle while car was in drive gear was about 730 and seemed pretty smooth is this normal or what is the normal idle it should be at wierd thing is car seems to run perfect but whenever this code comes up it litteraly makes it so my gas peddle is useless and don't want to end up stranded

So it's fixed? Im having a hard time understanding. And I doubt vape smoke will work, you need a constant source. But try it. Think I've seen people use cigars on YouTube. You have to take off intake and cover throttle body with tape or a rubber glove.

I think its fixed drove it to work today no issues but with this problem its tough to tell as I didn't think there was anything wrong with the car until I was stuck at a green light because my gas pedal became useless. and got reduced engine power message. that's why I was asking what these cars are supposed to idle at because I read the reason my gas pedal becomes useless is because the pcm reads that the engine is idleing way too high then just makes the car undrivable which is really stupid to me as this would have left me stranded if I did not have a device that could quickly clear the code and it still drove fine I didn't damage the engine. so I wanted to know if an idle around 730 or 800 rpm was okay? what do these cars normally idle at while in drive gear?

Once it's up to operating temp, that idle rpm is fine.

new cycle of codes came up and the reduced engine power code went away I feel safe now but I got 2 new codes p0131 and p0134 both lead to the front o2 sensor? I believe this is the third one to go bad in the past 2 years max is there a reason Im roasting through these things also my wideband o2 seems to be constantly reading 22.0 afr so that one is bad as well even though it was installed like 3 years ago? whats the deal do I need special o2s for e85 or something?

No, e85 doesn't hurt o2 sensors. You most likely have a vacuum leak causing the car to think the o2 is bad.

well those codes read that there is no voltage going to the sensor I think. could that still be a vacuum leak? if so then ill get to testing for vacuum leaks ill try to make a smoke tester as that seems like the better and easier way to do it just more up front cost

I had to replace my wideband sensor, they only last for like 6 months or so. I can vouch that E85 isn't bad for o2 sensors or widebands.

should I even get a new wide band only lasting 6 months and costing $80 to $90 are they even worth it haha they are simple to change but that's a lot of money

I ran mine for several years and replaced it when I started tuning with a new tuner. I was having strange readings and my wideband data didn't correlate with the narrowband data, so we weren't sure which to trust. I still don't trust my narrowband because the data still doesn't match. it's up to you whether you get a new wb sensor.
