Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
why you commanding so much fuel? up the pe commanded to 12.6.
and yes you can import the wb to the hpt, you use the egr wires that im sure you've deleted already. ive done both my cars this way. works great.
heres a vid, much easier to watch it being done, then follow along as you set it up. i know it says 3.0 its still all the same, im on the latest version.

That is what the Commanded fuel has been set too with the tune I have. Im not sure how to change it I have two tables I feel like would be the correct one to do so or at least be why the commanded AF is where it is at. https://i.imgur.com/Vf4mGDF.png
Thanks for sharing that link with me I honestly thought I was gonna be in the dark until the pro version of the MPVI2 was released.
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
set pe to 1,200 across the line there.

I changed the data across that line and went and did some logging my commanded airfuel changed from 10.9:1 to 11.2:1
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
that's a step in the right direction. most people target 11.5 afr.
edit: were you still 10 LTFT at wot?
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
11.2 aint bad, better for sure, try a higher value if you like. what was the wb reading this time? it still pig rich or it lean up some too?
you tinker with the maf file at all?
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
The LT fuel trim is still at 10 and the wide band was reading around 12.5ish its always been more lean than what it is commanding. And no I havnt messed with my MAF tabel
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
looking back at page one, that maf file zzp set up, put that back to the stock value. scan and re tune that. thats why your pig rich for sure.
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
Why would my LTFT be at +10 if im running so rich? Or at least the commanded AFR is really rich my wideband isnt matching. But I will definetly try that and see what happens. At what AFT reading should I let off the throttle at for being to lean during a WOT pull?
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
your afr is affected by the massive amount of fuel being added.
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
12's are rather safe.
you get to lowing the timing yet? you got to be set up for 21 degrees it seems. cause showing 16 with 4º kr is a timing of over 21. every degree of kr removes 2 degrees of timing. so kr math says your at like 24º wot.
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
i missed what if any mods you had?
and the o2 graph, it ever hit 900's? should be around 930 wot and hold that range. if its not getting up there it might be time to replace it, bad o2 cause all sorts of fueling issues. the o2 and maf work together, so if one is giving bad info, you get messed up fueling.
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
When it comes to my timing im going to wait until I get all fresh fuel in the tank last week I got some octane booster just to see what effect it would have on the car so im waiting for that to run out of the system.
https://i.imgur.com/5Srm7yp.png My o2s are sitting in the high 600s
Mods
3in catless downpipe
egr delete
180 stat
fenderwell intake
autolite 104s
zzp pcm 1.0
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
up stream o2 sensor time then.
i had my tune all dialed in, then out of the blue it was knocking like mad, noticed my o2 was off on a scan, new o2, no more kr. for the 40 bucks or so its worth a shot.
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
and for real lower that timing asap. its way to high. that pic its showing 21º and 1.8 kr. drop it back to stock for now. once the fueling is figured out you can see if it will take more.
kr chips pistons if you didnt know this. so asap, lower that.
have you ever heard my displeasure for zzp tunes before, this is why.

When I first got HPT I made a log and my 02 was high 800s and they have been dropping slowly over the last month that ive had it.

yeah replace that asap then. get a delco one too.
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
Im going to buy a new o2 sensor and I know they can be a pain in the ass to get removed I have all the tools to do the job my question is will I have room to get a torch down there to heat the bung up ? Or is there another trick for these cars im in the dark about haha
Re: Fueling Issue 2004 gtp
drive the car so its good and hot, then remove the o2. 2, 6 inch extensions and a breaker bar just cleared the top of the blower. came right out for me. you know after it broke free, one large crack lol
