Hey guys I took the car out today and I'm having this little problem. Whenever I punch the gas or accelerate quickly the car bogs down first for about a half second and then it picks up like normal. The wideband is showing lean when the bogging happens but is showing on point for all other circumstances including wot. Pump is fairly new 320lph aem. Fuel filter is new. Its just weird because it seems to still be able to push its normal amount of fuel but for some reason its having a slow reaction. Any ideas? Thanks.

Ya idk it was weird I drove the car a couple hours after that and it wasnt happening anymore and it hasnt happened again over the past week. I do have a valve cover breather on right now, as soon as I figure out where the vac line needs to go in the throttle body I will be getting rid of that pos.

    Wait.

    Vac line to the breather?

    Take a picture.

    Post it.

You don't need a breather; that's just a post MAF vacuum leak. Doesn't help. Google the vacuum line routing; that's what you need to follow. '97's are different than '98-'03 cars, so make sure you don't look at one or the other.

Ya sorry totally forgot that post, I'm actually working on part of this tonight. I just had one question. Is it ok for me to put the vac nipple straight on the oil cap without the neck. Or should I go get a neck from a junk yard so I can have the nipple up hire and not as close to the oil? Also if its possible to not use the neck but use like a filter inline I'd rather do that just because the neck is so frickin ugly.

If I'm thinking of the same thing you are its completely turned off. Its setup to never pull timing and basically no f*cks given when it comes to transmission safety. That's how reptile had it set in his off the shelf tune. I tried setting them going off a zzp tune which was slightly more aggresive then stock but I always got a huge jerk when shifting gear at wot that was really annoying so I set it back how reptile had it.
