ive had the ic for almost 2 years now, that checking on it crap is long over. i used to be all over it, cause it was actually not working all the time, not till i cut the pumps plug off and soldered the wires right to the pump.

and mines under my horn, cant hear it really, and the upper return tube is under coolant, so i dont hear or see that either.

i just happened to be flashing a tune with the hood open, didnt see any movement in the res tank, first thing i saw was the wire hanging near the battery. bingo!!!!

Nice. I have my pump mounted right under where the horn sits. Ironically a couple days ago i was forced to take a big driveway straight on and I smacked the pump hard enough that it broke the plastic 90* elbow that connects to the pump and the 1/4" aluminum bracket it was held in. Fortunately for me the hose plumbed to the core held it up and kept it from falling off. Refilled with water, added some zip ties and pump still works! 😀

none of mine will ever hit the street, or a curb or a parking stop.

i got mine on a diy bracket bolted to the same bolt the horn uses. thats a muffler band clamp on the pump.

fmhe is also way up there, bolted to the bottom of he rad support.

Well when I did my intercooler install I had read in multiple place the pump should be the lowest point on the system so it never runs dry which makes a lot of sense but looking back on it I probably could have mounted it a little higher. I have the zzp fmhe mounted how its supposed to be so its pretty frickin low but I'm lowered anyway so I already made sure to be very careful with bumps and such.

Well I just got done installing the autolite 103's and my car seems to love them. I haven't done a full blown comparison yet but I can tell it deffinately helped with the little kr I was seeing in the top of 2nd and 3rd. I will let ya know more accurately how much it helped tomorow when I can take it out longer. I also gapped them at .46 which is a little less then what's reccomend which I believe is .50 but I was running my 104s at .50 and that worked great so since this is a colder plug I figured I would shorten the gap just a tad.
