why not buy a $500 L32 from Ed? my L32 has coated pistons, and powdered rods. my buddys father rebuilt it all for me and it came out looking great. the biggest thing with these cars is the tune. stop listening to ZZP with their AFC's and happy knobs. find a reputable performance shop in the area with a mustang dyno. if they can tune an LS motor making 600 horse. they can tune a 3.8 i was fooled into all of the gimmicks of tuning through the maf sensor and all that crap, now i have a 12 second car with just a 3.4 and rockers, how many guys have cams and can barely go 13.5? i feel you are wasting money going for forged pistons, if you have a crappy tune they'll just chip again.
