When I started modding this car, I had a mechanic install the headers, and when he did, he left the U bend behind the catalytic in place instead of using the downpipe that came with the headers. I'm wondering if this is causing much, if any, restriction. The car is a 2001, and I wanted to keep the rear O2 sensor because of the catalytic converter diagnostic. I have since disabled the diagnostic so I don't care if I keep the rear O2 sensor and the catalytic converter. I have Speed Daddy headers, and with the little amount of searching I have done, have not been able to find another Speed Daddy header downpipe. So I am wondering if the catalytic converter that I have and the U bend behind it is causing enough of a restriction that I need to find something to find another downpipe to replace it with, and if so, has anyone tried a ZZPoop downpipe with Speed Daddy headers?

cut the u bend off the cat weld new pipe to a flange and bolt it back together, nothing a muffler shop cant handle. or buy a high flow cat, screw that stock crap.
