So I decided to purchase a ported Gen3 housing from ZZP after noticing my LIM gaskets were leaking coolant. I selected outlet porting only not realizing that they also mill it out for an intercooler. ZZP customer service says that it will work and flow just fine without being turbulent. In my opinion that is BS. What do you guys think?

Looking at the housing where the outlet V matches to the LIM there is a .25" lip for the air to bounce off of. Not to mention the cavity between the area on the SC that is milled for the intercooler and the LIM.

Could I get by with getting the machined LIM to match? Or am I stuck dropping $1000+ on an intercooler?

Take a dremel to the LIM and open it up some.

I would install the supercharger on whatever you have because I am sure it will work just fine. the only problem I could see is if the lim inlet has been opened up too big for the supercharger to seal to, but you are using a stock lim so that should be just fine.
