Last week I had a crazy idea, and I'm not sure how feasible it is. my idea was to bolt 2 Eaton m90's to a 3800. after thinking about it some more, it seems somewhat do able. the general idea would be to fabricate a mount to go on top of the existing m90, but to offset it, so the serpentine belt turns the 2nd blower. the top blower would be upside down so the blower outlet would be going straight up, then use an intercooler and some inlet/outlet tubing or something like the stattama intake manifold to dump the air into the intake pre maf sensor. I would use the bbv and run it off the existing vacuum lines, and just have it dump into the atmosphere. I'm not sure if the pcv would be needed.

the benefit would be double the boost for less than half the cost. obviously, if this was used on a car then there would be definite hood clearance issues.

am I forgetting anything? is it even worth trying? and fyi, if in the unlikely event that it is attempted, it would be on a dune buggy/sand rail both converted to drive on the street.

I just have to post this. It's not a good idea to me and not worth the cost to make it work.

that was pretty funny, but in reality, what would be so hard about it?

Running blowers in series wouldn't give you a flow increase, but it would give a pressure increase, but that's if you were trying to go over 20psi. Running thrm in parallel has actually been done but it was on a 351 in a 88' Turbocoupe chassis. The car ran into the 9's. I don't think the website is up anymore but it was under Toohighpsi.

Room would be a huge concern and using 94-95 ford superchargers would be much smaller footprint. That and they have keyed pulleys instead of a press on pulley. The other issue is you would need to use a larger belt with at least 8 ribs or 10 ribs, so there's that.
