Yesterday i replaced the fuel pump in 2000 gtp....we thought that was the problem but it wasnt.(330 dollars later...we figured out it wasnt)
The car turns on for about 5-15 seconds and just dies out....any other ideas?

There could be many. Could be the fuel pressure regulator, could be the MAF, could be even the crankshaft position sensor. What would help would be listing any trouble codes you have (if any) and what if any troubleshooting steps and the results of that work you have done and so on. The more details we have the more we can help out.
I bet it is the fuel pump resistor! You can find out if it is the issue for free by doing this:

Crap, I keep forgetting about that part cause I dont have it, LOL. I agree, check that to start with.
hook a fuel pressure gauge up to the rail and see if the pressure bleeds off.
i ahd the same prbel m with my car, i baught the cranks cahft sensor and that didnt do it and then i got the MAF that did the trick and since then have had no problems
Mine did this same thing a while back, would run for about 5 to 10 sec then die out. If I gave it gas, it would barely run. Mine was a bad O2, replaced it, no problems.
So I would have to say, MAF, or O2.
could be your egr valve as well. i heard the if the valve is stuck open, on start it may start and die out
my guess would be MAF, O2, or something fuel delivery related other than the pump. easiest way is to watch the voltage reading with a scan tool or even better a graphing scanner.
I had the same problem. My car would run really bad for the first few minutes and finally smooth out. The problem turned out to be a short in the MAF circuit.
ya the car runs great and drives really good. it onyl will do it sometimes and it has a new crank shadt sensor and MAF. those were al things that poped up and so then i fixed them all except the o2 so i was jsut wondering if that could be it and i will check that fuse right now, how do i know if its bad?
