Found this and didn't know if anyone had seen it before. I know it's about a mustang but its about the Gen 3 M90. If anyone is into tech numbers and data check it out. I'm surprised the cranked it out to 20k rpm!

Finally, I saw this at work yesterday then I couldn't find it again. I remember this article when it came out. There's a lot of good information there it was also one of the first articles that actually was about as close to apples to apples comparison of a Roots and a Lysholm supercharger. The M90 used for all the kits back then from Roush, Allen and the others used the 94-95 Tbird SC supercharger. The reason that GM didn't use a Lysholm was cost. The complexity of machining Lysholm rotors back when these were new was very high. Rotors for the Eaton had already been developed a long time prior and the mass production of the Eaton superchargers for Ford. Eaton didn't really need to do much to make a supercharger for GM other than make new castings for the case and snout. This would have been way more cost effective to do rather than having to develop a and have a company retool for the numbers needed. Eaton could easily fill that volume as they had already been doing it for many years.
