Not too much actual HP/TQ gains man....BUT...throttle response and the fact you'll be pushing more air = WIN!! I think TB upgrades net under 10hp even on builds needing them...IIRC

the throttle response isnt really "better"...

the N* has a linear throttle plate movement, while our stock setup is progressive. the N* ends up being open more sooner in the pedal travel. i actually hated how it felt and went back to a hogged out stock throttle body.

you dont need a throttle body. you need a better intake. anyone running an intercooler that isnt running an open cone is losing power.

good job. i didnt see it in your signature so i just assumed.

either way a bigger throttle body isnt going to help much if there is a step down from your throttle body to the blower case. did brian port that out to 75mm?

ls1 throttle body is huge. not many people need that big of a throttle body.

the throttle response is not better. it is a different throttle blade opening rate. less throttle opens the blade more. i feels like better throttle response, but its just a linear blade opening. i hated how it felt. barely touch the gas and i was already boosting. id rather have to get about 1/4 into the throttle before it gets to that.

Yup. 75mm. When/If I ever re-do my blower it is getting port matched to a 75mm Inlet and the LS1 is getting smoothed/polished/ported with a SLP MAF. Bish is gonna scream.

No...I think this is how it goes. The N*'s blade will open at different rates due to pedal %'s vs. the LS1's blade...basically when you give the LS1 TB 50% throttle it'll really feel like 50% vs. a lag sort of feeling with the N*.

If not, then correct me or give a better explanation, but that is how I understand it in my head.

I meant it being that if you press the pedal halfway down on a N* it won't feel as responsive with 50% throttle on a LS1'd car.
