I hope that was sarcasm. I ran my 3.6 pulley at 12.0 to 1 at 20° with 0 kr. And no chipped pistons

Just because that what you ran doesnt mean ****.

11.0-11.5 with E10 fuel is a great ball park to be in a forced induction motor. General rule of thumb for port injection motors has always been 11.5 for turbo/supercharger and 12.5 for NA motors. Direct injection motors are different and same with adding of methonal as that can allow you to run leaner because it's got a high octane rating.

Holy SH*T........LTFT locking in at 8.5?????

    That's your problem.

And 11.0 is too rich....way to rich for anything remotely close to what he's running here.

I hate argue but 11.0 can be perfect for some cars and not for others.

There is no ideal AFR for every single motor, it's always going to be different. I'm just saying what if you fix the LTFT issue and try 11.5 AFR and it still knocks, then you back it down to 11.0 and it doesnt. Then the 11.0 afr doesnt sound too bad now does it.

You're right, it's not perfect for all cars....but 11.0 on a stock pulley GTP is too rich. I'm going to argue, because I've been doing this for 11 years, and the days of choking out KR with fuel are long past. Concerning the fact that the AFR adder table is going to drop it even more, this car's tune is ****ed from one end to the other.
The only way to fix it, is flash it back to stock, and tweak about 7 things and call it good.

Is there any good information I can read on tuning basics on the forum? Or any where else?

I have never done any tuning my self but I would like to someday soon.

Ideally, what should the FT values be at? What do they actually represent? (Short term, long term etc.)

I would like to have the stock tune for comparison.

The cars that I got the tunes out of had 3.5 pulleys on them and there was alot of trans tune work done. The mass airflow had tables changed as well
