What is the easiest way to replace the flex-plate? ive been told i can undo the tranny and the rubber mount and drop the sub-frame a little bit and then undo the motor mounts and i can make up 4 inches of room which would be enough to do. But is it recommended? HELPPPP IM NEW TO FRONT WHEEL DRIVE 3800 IVE HAD A FEW 3800 CAMAROS.

Removing the motor out the top would be the fastest if you ask me.

I call it a coolant swap. Unhook electrical..a few bolts and lift up 6 inches. Swap and drop

Are you talking about the flexplate bolts? Or block to transmission bolts?

Starter, flex to convertor, exhaust to dp, trans bracket to different, trans bolts. Everything needed to lift it out
