I have an 04 gtp with 103's, 160° thermostat, zzp 3"do without cat, fwi, intense pcm, and 3.6 pulley...i have 0 kr almost all the time except about a half second bf it shifts at wot... I get any where from 1-3* kr. Is this normal? I have high ratio rockers and power log from zzp on the way...should that be enough to fix it..or is it normal for these cars to do that?

plugs are to cold, try 104's. and you need headers or the plog dp combo. and ditch that 160 t stat.

once modded your goal is zero KR. stock kr is fine, but modded your gonna chip a piston.

stay out of the gas till your plog shows up.

make sure you run 93 fuel too. or at least 91.

Are you running stock valve springs? You're probably floating valves causing KR

I'm running 93 from the shell station. I have the stock thermostat and a 180° one.. which would be better?

I have new springs coming with the rockers, but yes I'm running stock springs.

Would doing the plog and the rockers be enough to to possibly fix that much? I'm planning on an intercooler in the next couple months too.

rockers killed off 5º of kr on my car. i had 8. (no headers or tune, stock pulley) plog should help with a dp. in car tune would really help.

Got the rockers, springs, and plog installed...went back to my 3.8 pulley and I'm getting maybe a 1/2 a degree less kr.

Only thing on this car I haven't replaced is the fuel pump..is there a chance it's gotten weaker over time and not keeping up?

I will say when i changed my fuel filter my fuel pump was making loud whining noise before startup and i had about 5 degress of kr.... Swapped the fuel filter fuel pump loud whining noise went away.. And my car kr was back at 0 on a 2.8 pulley

Yes, I did the fuel filter about a month ago. I'm going to go ahead and order a new one I guess. Any suggestions on the best one or the best deal? Only things I'm "planning" on doing is getting an ic, actual custom tune, ans maybe a slightly smaller pulley.

A wideband would let you know if you are leaning out up top.

It's on my to buy list... probably need to replace the pump anyway, if it's like everything else on the car, it's never been changed lol.

Ok, so I'm still getting kr when everything gets warm...the springs I got wirh the rockers were used...is there a possibility I could be floating valves?? I'm not sure how many miles were on them. With a 3.8 pulley I get kr at 4700 rpm every time I let it get there. I'm getting frustrated with it.
