    At what point do you make the switch to forged piston, how much boost/power do you need to decide its necessary

    Considering there's a handful of guys making 500-550 and still running stock pistons it's safe to say forged is not needed.

    Edit: and your not getting anywhere near that on a blower setup

    Likely never for 95% of the people out here.

    Like he said, stock bottem end can support 500WHP all day, a few guys are running 10's and 11's at the drag strip on a bone stock block.

    I swore I saw something on here about ZZP using a stock bottom end in their drag car.

    i think the last JY shortblock the statamma GP had was the motor that was in the twin turbo setup and the BFTGT build was with their new race shorty
