Well that's the who point of this thread, I know I could build a quick GP going turbo, Just trying to get some ideas on what people out there are using for the grand prix. I want to lean towards Turbo but I want to hear any convincing arguments for SC. Ill just start a new thread haha.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. You already ported the heads. So depending on what that cost you - you might as well stick to that route. Save the money on headers and topswapping and do a turbo kit. But any route you choose, I see $$ for upgrades and maintenance still ex fuel injectors, tune, wideband etc

The 4t65e upgrades will be the next expense.

Topswap if you will be relatively happy with the ballpark area of a stock GTP. Once you start adding valvetrain mods, intercoolers, and the like, it makes much more financial sense to go turbo.

Who ports n/a heads if they plan on going supercharged? That's like baking cookies when you want cake.

Well I haven't ported the heads yet, if I port the heads ill go turbo, which is what I'm leaning towards anyways. I got a bunch of spare parts less the little stuff like the wastegate and all the tubing. Ive got a turbo to use, I have an intercooler I can modify to fit, The only big thing I would need is a set of manifolds.
I also have everything for a top swap sitting on another motor that locked up for some reason not sure yet why it did.
But I am leaning towards turbo.

Do these cars sound ok with the mufflers cut out and just resonator? Any tips would be greatly appreciated or if somebody knows of a thread that I didn't see.

Sorry I was typing too fast, trying to do all this forum discussion at work. LEt me take a min here...I had the heads resurfaced had a lil warp to em. Figures wh I was getting a little confused with some of the answers I was getting.
I'm typing faster then thinking about what I'm typing haha. I'm sorry guys. It's just all out of wack. but I have my answer after doing my own research, I going to go turbo and force a bit of power out of the motor.

So within a few hours you changed your mind from "what mufflers to get" to a full turbo build?
