Can anyone tell me what kind of screw or plug can I plug into my transmission pan because my original rubber plug had a hole in it and leaked out all my transmission fluid

They don't have a drain plug from the factory and this is why. They leak. You could get another pan and put it back original or maybe try to put a better drain plug in a salvage pan and then swap. Or re-do what you have. Any option involves removing the pan.

I'm not trying to remove the whole pan can I just buy a steel screw from somewhere to replace the rubber plug?

Do you have a picture of your current pan so we can get an idea of what you got?

Was that a junkyard transmission or pan? That's a hole. Not a plug. You're gonna need a new pan.

No. You need a new pan. Junkyards are required by law to drain transmissions when they get them, and they poke holes just like that, an put a rubber plug in them. That shouldn't be there at all. You need a new pan.

That's the problem. Dorman sells a replacement pan that has a drain plug pre-installed.

Dorman makes a replacement pan with a drainplug in it for like 30 bucks if that interests you. I imagine you could find a stocker cheap somewhere tho.

This is normal, isn't it? I mean aren't they all? Someone could have tapped the trans body and used oversized bolts if those are supposed to be 8mm but got stripped out at some point.

I think it might just be the filter that broke. Don't think i have one here to look at though.
