    Hey,

Have some rusty mufflers and I'm looking for a direct fit and hopefully easy install OEM-stock mufflers. Something I can do without welding or too much metal work if possible. I'm not looking for a performance or sound difference, simply a plug and play system. I've seen a lot out there but wanted to know how I can balance ease of replacement with what's available, thanks.

ebay sells cat back for pretty cheap. you really wont find anything cheaper, now how long it lasts is another story.

if you have car ramps you back up on them, and just unhook all the hangers and the two bolts to the dp flange.

if you have a welded up factory cat back still, you'll need to weld the new mufflers on, no way around that really.

after market is all slip joints and clamps.

From a cost perspective would I just be better going to a muffler shop and having them weld new mufflers in or replacing the whole exhaust myself. I see the pricing for the whole thing is around $300 shipped. Any idea if that's a reasonable price for a shop to do it, thanks.

theres other listings that are free shipping and cheaper, thats just the first one i found. you'll need to search around some on e bay.

its cheaper to order the pipes and mufflers on line vs the parts store. parts stores wanted 110 for my exhaust pipe, got it on line for 60.

not sure what a shop would charge. they vary form shop to shop. last place i went to for a est wanted 175 for a muffler, i was like ok, see ya later pal.

i got a new pipe, muffler and a glass pack for less. installed myself. its easy if you have car ramps.
