iirc i went 15 on the lim bolts, no idea what n/a intake spec is.

if you fill the rad then fill the block from there the t stat is, then put the t stat back in bleeding will be minimal.

i like to let it idle rad cap off till the fans come on, then open the bleeder on the t stat housing. leave open till coolant comes out in a steady stream. top off the rad and cap it.

recheck the rad level the next morning when its ice cold, top off if needed.

alternator bracket. it comes with the tensioner. junk yard would be the cheap way, they run like 75 and more new.

new razor blades to scrap the crud off, brake cleaner and a rag to wipe the surfaces down with. thats all you need.

Well guys got it together and it is running great. i got some sea foam spray and cleaned the lifters and push rods. and cleaned the throttle body good. also insted of useing the black sealer i used the copper is it any good? And also i replaced the part that sits in between cyl 1 & 3 that has the vacuum line running to the throttle body. And i belive the one hose says evap? but mine was clicking like crazy. and it is running better then the day i bought it. also the little screen in the throttle body i read it helps some with intake to keep it out. is it okay to do that?

I use copper exclusively, it's perfect to use.
The throttle body screen should be left in place. In our situtation it keeps the maf reading properly.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

if your buying all new rotors and stuff, its the best time to up grade to a set of F body brakes up front. by far the best mod for first one. stops so much better.

http://www.regalgs.org/topic/54303-f...brake-upgrade/ one of the better how to's with pics and part #'s for the bearing sleeves. unless you drill and tap the caliper brackets.

you can find these used all the time here, or at a junk yard.

its like night and day. buy good pads. those wagner pads sucked BTW. very cheap and wore fast, and dust every where with the F bodys.

im using posi stops right now all around, the rears were like 20 bucks off ebay, the front f body pads were like 60. R1 concepts sells the same pads for 100 and 40 iirc. i just googled the part #'s they had listed.

you'll get the most out of the brakes with stainless steel braided lines. id get the f body lines if your going on the cheap tho.

i got my set used, came with the lines, so i really dont know what they were originally made for.

so today i took a trip to roanoke, va (327 miles) i had no cel light on and once i got to roanoke and pulled up to a light it came on. went straight to advance and got it scanned and it came up with a po121, po122, po118, po135, po141 and po155, unhooked the battery for awhile, made the 327 mile trip back and never came back on, what would have caused this? also the car has a new acdelco and a 180 thermostat in it. i think im going to throw back in the 195 thermostat and pick up a tps sensor and temp sensor from the junk yard and replace them. do you all think this will clear most of it up?

look for a damaged wires to the tps and the temp sensor. that whole area bakes with heat, wires fall a part.

also check the fuse box for a blown fuse, if the fuses are all good the o2 maybe bad, or its wires are bad.

Another random question, my car did have the catfish front bumper and i put a gt bumper on it. There was a huge plastic shilded covering the whole radiator. i removed it what was the point in covering the radiator like that?
