I can actually hook/unhook them blindfolded and armless...
Talking about linkages or bras here, Bill?
Would a bad MAF sensor trip the check engine light? I've replaced just about everything and that damn light keep coming back on!!!
go to a auto zone, they will scan the car for free. and tell you what the code means.
or buy a cheap scanner on line. i got one for 17 shipped.
or the Torque app will also scan for codes. that app and elm bluetooth runs less then 15 bucks, its only good for a droid phone tho. it does a crap load of live data.
maf and rear o2 are not related.
i replied to your post in this thread. http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...67#post1301767
My car finally set a code for my Maf. Didn't illuminate the cel, but was pending.
what was the code? theres a few of them, they all mean something different could be wrong with it.
Po102 I believe. Low voltage it said. Had the DMM hooked up. It's receiving proper voltage, ground is good too. Wiggles the wires in every imaginable way and nothing changed. So not entirely sure what's going on there.
check the wires for missing insulation, if you see bare wires you need a new pig tail. or the maf is shot. or the fuse #21 iirc is blown.
Yeah, it's the #21 fuse. That checked out fine with the test light. Checked as far up the wires as I could and they appear to be fine.
try a used maf then. they run like 40 off ebay. makes sure its oem. these engines hate aftermarket mafs.
I've got one coming from Reptile. Hopefully that solves my issue. If it doesn't I probably overlooked a bad wire, but I guess I will have a spare then
