    2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Base.

Just recently my car's remote starter is not working. It's a factory starter and whenever I try to remote start it the lights turn on and I hear a click from under the hood. My check engine light is on but it's an O2 Sensor that needs to be replace, I don't think that would relate to the remote starter not working. Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

IIRC correctly if the cel is on then the remotes start won't work even if it's something simple triggering it. Get the code, clear it then try to start it from the fob and that can confirm if. Then fix whatever is causing the cel.

Problem is if the o2 is indeed bad the CEL is just going to come back on again and leave you without remote start.
