    Hi guys,

I have a 2007 grand Prix and it has a timing chain gasket leak (verified by two separate mechanics). I have searched the forums for a procedure on replacing just the gasket (vs. the chain) and have came up empty handed.

My question is: Does anyone have a good procedure for changing the timing chain gasket (obviously the other gaskets up to that point too), or know of a good book that could point the way (Hayes etc)?

    Thanks a bunch!

    Jeremiah

follow the timing chain how to's you found, just dont change the chain.

all you need is some rtv, a new gasket, and coolant elbows.

and a balancer puller with the right bolts. all that info is in the how to change a crank sensor thread.
