    Hey guys,
I'm top swapping my 02 GP GT in 2 weeks, what all do I need to know? I've heard that on a Top Swap a 3.8" pulley is the same as a 3.6" on a GTP. What's everything important I need to consider? Tried to search the forums but didn't find much. Links to other threads would be appreciated as well.
    Thanks!

"Top Swap" in search bar yields me no relevant results.

You have everything you need for a top swap?

    -Heads
    -LIM
    -Blower
    -Tensioner
    -GTP PCM

I'd suggest to do headers with the top swap. Its the perfect time to install them. Grab some Speed Daddy's off eBay for $220. You'll be on a high compression block, with stock manifolds that breathe no better than coffee straws, and a blower that makes a bunch of heat. It's asking for trouble. In that case, headers should be necessity, especially when they can be had for so cheap.

I don't know what your budget is, but if I was going to top swap, I'd do the majority of mods I wanted to do now, such as Springs/rockers/Gen V/Northstar throttle body.
'97 GTP - Stage 2 Heads, 90# Springs, 1.9 Harland Sharp Rockers, Gen V, 3.0, Intake, N* TB, LQ4, FSIC, 10.5mm Wires, Poly Mounts, SLP Headers, Borla Exaust, Built Trans - SOLD*

    '08 G8 GT - 6.7L 408CI Stroker, 239/254 Cam, Fast Intake, 102mm TB, CAI, Full Exhaust.
