I was changing a coolant elbow on my 1997 grand prix GT, when i noticed the o ring from the elbow went inside the cylinder head, when trying to fish it out with a screw driver, it sprang back far into the head out of reach, what should i do?

you take the unused elbow's O ring, roll it on the cast elbow, oil all o rings then slide them in the holes. bolt it all up your done.

Scotty, what I'm saying is, when taking out the elbow, one rolled off and went into the engine where the coolant flows through, trying to determine if I'mma blow up my engine or it'll be ok
