Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
First time you posted you grenaded a diff
Second time you posted you had fixed the diff and destroyed the engine
Third post was another destroyed transmission
My suggestion on how to get better mpgs is to replace the person between the steering wheel and seat. Guaranteed to bring mpg up by at least 6-8mpg

Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
This^ and I bet you have a zzp tune. And all they do is run rich

Spark plugs, wires, and coils
At this time your just talking out of your ass you really dk what's wrong with the car your just guessing. I agreed with Bill replace the driver and everything will magical fix itself.
Edit: but wait he has a 400hp racecar Camaro so he must know something

Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
Ive got a tune from a guy in my state.

Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
Probably just dumps fuel.

Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
Go put a stock PCM in the car see if it runs better if you can even do that because of engine swap or other stuff you have done.

Whatever you do, know that if you get MSD coils, they typically break down and start causing higher rpm misfires within a month to a year of being new. Stock or parts store cheap replacements will treat you better.
Wires.. TMK there is no way to tell which ZZP wires were bad. Honestly.. I wouldn't take the chance on them. Plus there's no benefit to them. The only time to use them is when you are highly modded and need extra insulation to jamb them under a snout or something.
True!

True!
Stay with the stock ignition system and stop beating the **** out of you car. Do that and your MPG should improve, If not replace driver

Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
If that fails.. drive so slow your GF jokes about you driving slower than most grandfolk. LOL
(Kyle.. you like that one..lol)

Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
Yesterday I was driving my camaro around and was driving superrrr slow. And she says "My paralyzed grand mother drives faster than you" so I floored it and ran out of gas 😂😂

Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
It actually didnt run out of gas, when I floor it the main vacuum cap came off the back of the carburetor and it wouldnt run at all.
-

Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
It only did it that one time for some reason. So after putting 30 dollars worth of premium in it thinking it ran out I seen the vacuum cap sitting their next the valve cover
-
Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
You couldn't tell the difference between being out of fuel and a vacuum leak?
-
Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils

Re: Spark plugs, wires, and coils
It wouldnt stay running at all. It was a huge leak. And its ran out of gas and acted the same before
